Graduated Drama school and only knew 27 people in my industry, which SUCKED!
Worked as an officer cadet, my best mate was a waitress and my flatmate was a bar tender – we were all shattered and creatively exhausted
We still felt like poor students living in London which stupidly high rent
We were physically drained, socially exhausted and we didn’t have time to do the things we loved with adundance, like writing, making theatre, going to shows – frankly it was effort!
